In ten years we have expanded from 2,000 square foot to 10,000 square foot and we are currently looking to staff our new additional workshop.

Job Description

We are looking to recruit Vehicle Technicians as additions to our busy team, to help deliver a full spectrum of quality services with great customer service.

These are full time roles (08:30 - 17:30) and working alternate Saturdays (08:30 - 13:30).

Duties to include

Service, Diagnostics and Repair of all makes of cars, 4x4s and light commercial vehicles.

Experience / Qualifications

You will need to be a competent qualified technician, able to work on your own and with the other team members, and preferably have a minimum of two years of general vehicle experience.

You will be expected to carry out vehicle servicing and repairs including but not limited to - Timing belt replacements, Clutch Replacements, Powertrain repair and replacement.

You will also be expected to definitively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults with the use of specialist diagnostic equipment.

We have a structured pay scheme with skill level assessments reflecting hourly pay. A vehicle technician certified to carry out MOT's and AC re-gas will thus be paid more than a basic technician.

Salary

£24,752 - £30,439 per year (£10.88 - £13.38 per hour depending on skill level) + monthly assessed Performance Bonus

Based on an average of 43.75 hours per week

You will work on all makes of cars, 4x4s and light commercial vehicles, fitting tyres, repairing punctures and small parts fitting (e.g. bulbs and wipers etc).

We prefer you to have garage experience including tyre fitting knowledge and be competent in working with prestige vehicles as care and accuracy is required.

This is a full time role (08:30 - 17:30) and working alternate Saturdays (08:30 - 13:30).

You must have a current driving licence, and be professional when dealing with customers.

Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor to join our well established and fast paced Service Centre.

This is a front of house roles where your main priorities will be advising and upselling to customers and managing their expectations. In this role you will be in charge of the day to day bookings of the Repair Workshop, this will include working closely with all management staff to make sure jobs run smoothly and customer expectations are met. You will have input to the workshop diary and will be expected to update and organise this in the most efficient way possible.

Who we are looking for

This role would ideally suit someone who has previously held a customer facing role in the automotive marketplace. However if you are passionate about the role and eager to learn then please do not hesitate to apply.

We are looking for someone who can work to deadlines, is able to adapt and make quick decisions, is a people person and is able to build a good rapport with new and existing customers.

Good planning and organisational skills are essential as you will manage and organise the Workshop Diary in order to maximise the productivity and efficiency of the Technicians.

You will be an honest, well-presented individual with the desire, the character, and attitude to succeed. You must be proactive, able to pay attention to detail, and be calm under pressure. Service Advisor Responsibilities

• Dealing directly with customers, in person, by e-mail and phone, advising and updating them, taking bookings, invoicing, and taking payments.

• Working closely with the Service Manager and Parts Manager to ensure jobs are completed on time and to the standard expected.

• Organising and managing bookings of the Courtesy Car Diary

• Organising and managing MOT's, Tyre Sales and Fitting, Servicing and Repairs for Company Vehicles

• Meeting personal and team targets.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday - 8:00am - 18:00pm

1 in 2 Saturdays - 8:00am - 14:00pm
